Accident Manager
A 24-hour service that offers assistance and guidance to the client following a vehicle accident. Accident Manager can be offered in combination with Auto Assist to accommodate non-accident related incidents.
Claims Notification Line
A 24-hour service assisting insurance companies, brokers and underwriting managers with their claims process in respect of the vehicle section of the insurance policy. The platform is customised per client group and via our call centre. The service entails voice logging of all incoming motor claim calls, electronic logging of a claim form and sending the claim form to the corporate client as well as electronic authorisation to glass fitment centres and other service providers if required. The Claims Notification Line can also accommodate non-vehicle claims procedures.
Full Recoveries
Full Recoveries allows insurance companies to outsource their third party claims recovery function. Qualified attorneys and specialist legal advisors, whose sole job is recovery, stick to the case until it's closed. The time and money saved allows for focusing on core business and improving customer service levels.
Motor Legal Care (Uninsured Loss Recovery)
Motor Legal Care is an uninsured loss recovery service for the insured and is added to motor vehicle policies. The benefit becomes operational when uninsured losses are caused by the negligence of a third party. Motor Legal Care will attempt to obtain compensation, for instance, for excess, claims less than excess, car hire charges, damages to clothing and personal effects such as glasses and jewellery and even accommodation expenses should an accident occur far from home.
Roadside Assist
A 24-hour help line, that puts the client in touch with appropriate services in the event of a roadside emergency in South Africa. The help line can, for example, arrange:
- a tow-truck if the vehicle is immobilised by mechanical failure or an accident;
- the relay of emergency messages;
- car rental, taxi, locksmith, emergency accommodation, etc.
The service offers three options namely Auto Assist Access (client is responsible for the charges of the service provider), Auto Assist Service basic and advanced (client is only responsible for cost related to an accident) and Auto Assist Service Plus (client is only responsible for cost related to an accident and has an additional benefit of an unlimited number of repairs at a discounted rate of 15% for small body damage to the vehicle).
