Missing Persons Support

  • Search and rescue service
  • 24-hour call centre support
  • Professional trauma assistance

Every six hours a child goes missing in South Africa. On average 1 700 children are reported missing every year. The first 48 hours in finding a missing person is crucial. If a family member doesn’t arrive home when they should, what do you do?

Missing Persons Support is a 24-hour call centre support service created through a partnership between Europ Assistance SA and Touch of Hope to provide members with reaction service. Together with the SAPS, SACMEC, media and other partners, members not only receive immediate and professional trauma assistance but are assured that the most appropriate search and rescue service is dispatched for the best possible chance of quick location.
