Europ Assistance SA was recently nominated in the top 3 for the Europ Assistance Group annual CSR 2009 challenge, an initiative that provokes innovative CSR responses from all Europ Assistance companies worldwide.

“Green Zone” is a multi-faceted methodology aiming to minimise the EA Group's carbon footprint on the environment. Based on a Green Protocol that covers all the goods and service provision aspects of companies in the EA Group, it also includes an internal and external educational information/communication plan that will contribute to raising public awareness about environmental issues.

This highly flexible approach will require a simple set-up for the first basic actions and can subsequently be extended to more complex problems.

It will make it possible to involve all the staff in the EA Group across all  business lines and companies, and will be the means of making savings through the corrective actions it introduces, and of anticipating the future carbon taxes planned in many countries.
